COVID-19 Information
All members must present documentation showing that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before receiving their badge. Negative COVID-19 test results do not fulfill this vaccination requirement.
If you are not fully vaccinated, do not enter the convention space or registration area.
With very few exceptions, Washington State requires masks to be worn at all times in the convention space unless you are eating or drinking.
You must have received all required doses of your vaccine on or before November 3, 2021 to be considered fully vaccinated as of November 18, 2021, the start of Anthro Northwest 4.
If you don't meet these requirements, regardless of your age or testing status, you may not attend Anthro Northwest 4.
What kinds of proof of vaccination are accepted?
Documentation that we accept as proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 includes, but is not limited to:
- An original, photocopy, or photograph of an authentic United States COVID-19 vaccination card, EU vaccination certificate, or other equivalent record issued by the healthcare provider who administered your vaccinations
- An email or printout from a national or state immunization database, such as WA-IIS, showing your vaccinations against COVID-19
- A digital attestation of vaccination against COVID-19 backed by a national or state immunization database, such as WA Verify or MyIR
- A note from a licensed healthcare professional attesting that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Records of natural immunity and documentation of recovery from COVID-19 are not accepted. Negative COVID-19 test results do not fulfill this vaccination requirement.
Anthro Northwest will not retain your documents or medical history information.
Attending with children
Children who are able to get a vaccine must be fully vaccinated to attend. Each child's parent must present documentation showing that the child is fully vaccinated.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have authorized the use of the Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine (also known under the name "Comirnaty") for children ages 5–11. However, since all attendees must have received all required doses before November 3, 2021 (14 days before the start of the event) to be able to attend, children under the age of 12 should not attend Anthro Northwest 4.
I have a medical condition that could be mistaken for COVID-19. What should I do?
If you have a medical condition that may cause you to have a fever or symptoms that could be mistaken for COVID-19, please bring a doctor's note explaining your condition. Anthro Northwest will not store your medical information and will handle any information you share with the strictest confidence under the Anthro Northwest confidential information policy.
I can no longer attend Anthro Northwest 4. May I get a refund?
You can request a refund for your registration or hotel room reservation before by filling out this refund request form. In addition to the form, please call the hotel at (888) 421-1442 to cancel your room reservation.
